General Usage

Because everyone is unique, each individual will require a different dosage for the formula to be most effective in supporting the bodyís well-being. It is recommended to exercise prudence when you first use an herbal product; starting from the minimum dosage stated on the directions, then proceeding to increase the dosage gradually as needed.

Dosage is not straightforward. Different people have different levels of responding to specific herbs and formulas. The most effective dosage for one person may not be the most effective for another. Dosage required may also vary as the conditions change while taking the herbs. The individual can make such decisions themselves regarding dosage (within the recommended guidelines), since they are most aware of their body and its responses. Please refer to individual usage guidelines for specific directions.

The main purpose of our herbal remedies is to nurture the bodyís self-healing ability. Therefore, use should be stopped when symptoms have gone. If another course of the same remedy is needed, a break as indicated in the instructions is necessary to give the body a chance to exercise its own self-healing ability.

The effect of herbal remedies is long lasting and will carry on during the break. Only if the body is not yet able to maintain the balance for itself will further courses be necessary. This is a good time to reassess the individualís needs; it may be time to try something else. However, changing to another remedy in Evergreen HerbTM product range can be started immediately after finishing or having stopped taking the previous remedy.
